Easter has been hit-and-miss around our house for the last few years and this year was no exception, with a hockey tournament and sick kids, we have had a subdued long weekend.
My son had his first out-of-town hockey tournament, and we decided that the best strategy would be divide and conquer, my husband taking my son and I staying at home with our two girls. We’ve been having beautiful weather here in Ottawa, but this last week it turned on us and Mother Nature had one last wintery blast left. As it turns out, my youngest fell sick with a nasty cold so inside craft was definitely the best option.
I have loved decorating Easter eggs ever since I was a young child and passing that experience onto my daughters brings me such joy. While decorating we talked about the colours, the shapes, had an in-depth discussion about the Easter bunny and hypothesized on what the boys were up to!
Naturally, I decided to document the process however, I have wanted to give stop-motion a try for some time and felt this was the perfect activity to start! You can see the results below, I’m pretty chuffed with my first go!
So from my house to yours, wishing you a very happy Easter!
